Did you know …

that termites can find their way even through cracks in a concrete slab?

Some people think a concrete slab offers complete protection against termite infestation.

Fact: Termites are capable of smelling timber in a building over long distances. They may sneak into your house through tiny cracks in the concrete slab or cracked bricks.

Eventually they feed on any timber in the house, such as floorboards made from timber, skirting boards, wood furniture or roof rafters, or…. stairs.

Quality Termite Control has just recently inspected a Sydney home built on a concrete slab. Termites found their way into the house and built a massive colony beneath the stairs.
